The Mission
Juniper Kyz is a new initiative created to empower young women in Kyrgyzstan through the sport of running. This social project aims to provide not only a platform for physical growth but also a space for personal development, health education, community building, and increased self-confidence!
By creating a space where young women can support each other and challenge themselves, the project helps combat specific difficulties girls and young women face in Kyrgyzstan, such as limited access to organized physical activity, prejudice against girls in sports, and financial barriers. Juniper Kyz aims to address broader issues of gender inequality by encouraging young women to take on leadership roles within their community and become advocates for their own well-being.
